Welcome to AI Insurer Brief Issue!
Hey - Fabio here,
More submissions through the same team. Faster decisions. More time to win business. That is the commercial promise of AI in insurance, and Ryan Specialty’s latest results offer something concrete: commercial auto liability submission processing cut from as much as two hours to under three minutes, and certain benefits teams reviewing 30% more submissions each week.
The technology suppliers see the opportunity.
Following Guidewire’s $1.7 billion agreement to buy hyperexponential last week, Amdocs is paying approximately $340 million for EIS to combine AI agents with policy, billing and claims systems used by insurers including Allstate and Aflac.
Verisk, meanwhile, is placing its underwriting and claims intelligence inside Copilot, Claude and Amazon Quick, and Revolut is cutting its AI costs by 90% after switching from Claude and Open AI to a Chinese model.
Here’s what stood out this week, in under 4 minutes. 👇
We’re welcoming Particle, as our first personal care brand, whose men’s skincare range is used by more than 1M men built around a simple daily routine.
